Mary Lane is an elder who has walked the archetypal journey through the remembering and integration of the feminine principle. She has distilled the wisdom from her lifelong experiences, deep connection with the natural world, spirit allies, and pivotal trainings that have supported her to translate and articulate the sacred language of our Mother.
What started as a career choice working as a chef over 40 years ago deepened into an indescribable relationship with Mother Earth, as well as food as a vehicle for her wisdom, and the sacred reciprocity that is so necessary in our world. The honoring of our Mother’s wisdom, the honoring of all our relations, especially the plants and animals that nourish us as a sacred intimate relationship that life could not exist without, Mary has brought a depth of perspective to what is considered a mundane act of feeding ourselves into a sacred gathering that nourishes body, mind and soul, drizzled with joy, beauty, heart connection with others that nothing compares to when gathered around a table together.
After journeying through a spiritual path in many ways, what Mary has discovered is our relationship with food reflects our relationship with ourselves, others, Mother Earth, Spirit, life and death.
Mary’s greatest joy is creating beautiful meals with local, foraged ingredients that has no cruelty infused into it, and sharing an evening together filled with a divine, grounded experience of Mother Earth’s love channeled through Divine Nourishment, joy, laughter, beauty and heartfelt connection.
Over time Mary became very involved with making friends with death as her personal walk with releasing the old paradigm and aging required for herself. As time went on, she gravitated back to her love of supporting others to receive the love of Mother Earth through the vehicle of food, and plant spirits.
